When a permitting application is connected to a planning case, staff no longer need to switch back and forth between screens to view the planning documents. The permitting application page now includes a dedicated Planning Case Documents section that automatically displays all finalized documents from any linked planning case below the permit’s own documents.
Documents are organized by their source planning case, so it’s always clear where each file came from. They appear in a read-only view, meaning staff can open and download them but cannot accidentally modify or delete the originals. If a planning case has been voided, its documents are automatically excluded to keep the view clean and accurate.
