We’ve introduced a brand-new Reservations module that gives you a centralized place to handle all facility bookings; such as assigning a food truck to a specific spot for the morning block, or reserving a picnic shelter for the weekend. This is all now organized in one system with a calendar view and simple scheduling tools.
The module supports different facility types with their own set of requirements, fees, and available time slots.
For example, food truck registrations can track vehicle size to match vendors with appropriately sized spots, and require documents like rental agreements, certificates of insurance, business licenses, and fire marshal inspections. You can manage time blocks (morning, afternoon, and evening), set fees, and offer prepaid credit packages so vendors can reserve multiple blocks at once, with the system automatically tracking their remaining balance.
We’ve also added a park patrol view so field staff can quickly see who is registered where on any given day, along with an attendance tracker to record whether vendors actually showed up. This information is displayed on the business record, giving you a complete history of each vendor’s reliability.
The system is designed to be flexible enough to fit your needs; we hope it’ll make event space registration smoother and be useful for alternative cases like meeting rooms and other bookable facilities.
